Meet Our Founder
A designer and creative director, Lindsay Clarke founded Mariko Studio in 2020 with a vision: distinctive brands that transcend time and trends, as intentional as they are impactful. With 10 years of industry experience, Lindsay leads the creative direction of every Mariko Studio project with her trademark design sensibility, known for visual storytelling and a timeless aesthetic.
Her approach is shaped by a background in both psychology and design, bringing together an understanding of how people think, what draws them in, and the role design plays in shaping perception. Lindsay studied Psychology before earning her Bachelor of Design in Fashion Communication from Toronto Metropolitan University, where she developed a multidisciplinary approach spanning design, strategy, storytelling and visual culture. Today, that foundation informs a thoughtful approach to brand building—creating identities that are not only beautiful, but considered, designed to build connection and leave a lasting impression.
